5. Analysis-Tools

a) Use of Google reCAPTCHA

The Dr. Erkens Consulting Group uses the reCAPTCHA service from Google Inc. (Google) to protect its orders made via the internet form. The query is used to distinguish whether the input is made by a human or (improperly) by automated machine processing. The query includes the sending to Google of the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service. Your input will be transmitted to Google, where it is used for this purpose. By using reCAPTCHA, you agree that the identification you have provided will be incorporated into the digitization of old works. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be abbreviated beforehand by Google within the Member States of the European Union or in other countries that are signatories to the Treaty on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is it transferred in its entirety to a Google server in the USA, where it is then abbreviated. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this service. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of reCAPTCHA will not be merged with any other Google data. Google’s differing data privacy provisions apply to this data. You can find more information about Google’s data privacy guidelines at: https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/.

b) Use of Google Maps

This website uses the ‘Google Maps API’ from Google Inc. (Google) for the visual display of map material. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and utilizes data on usage of the map’s functions by visitors to the website. The terms of use can be found under ‘Terms of Use for Google Maps’ (https://developers.google.com/maps/terms-20180207). Further information on Google’s data privacy guidelines can be found at: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-US.

c) Google Web Fonts

This page uses so-called web fonts provided by Google to display the font (https://fonts.google.com/about). When you visit our site, your browser loads the required web font into your browser cache. This is necessary so that your browser can also display an optically improved representation of our texts. If your browser doesn’t support this function, your computer will use a standard font for the display.
You can find more information about Google Webfonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq?hl=de-DE&csw=1
